COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The 11th annual Warren Strelow Men’s National Team Goaltending Camp, which features many of the top U.S. goaltenders eligible for international play within select age groups, will take place August 14-17 at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan.

Thomas Speer, USA Hockey’s national goaltending coach, will lead the camp. Guest instructors will include also include NHL and AHL personnel including Peter Aubry, developmental goaltending coach for the Chicago Blackhawks; Mike Buckley, Pittsburgh Penguins goaltending coach; Scott Clemmensen, developmental goaltending coach for the New Jersey Devils; Dave Rogalski, assistant goaltending coach with the St. Louis Blues; Jeff Salajko, goaltending coach with the Detroit Red Wings; Chris Terreri, goaltending development coach with the New York Islanders; Alex Westlund, associate goaltending coach with the Washington Capitals; Brian Renfrew, amateur scout with the Winnipeg Jets; and Karl Goehring, goaltending coach with the Syracuse Crunch.

The camp is named after the late Warren Strelow, a former NHL goaltending coach who served in that same capacity for the 1980 U.S. Olympic Men's Ice Hockey Team.

The elite four-day camp will cover both physical and mental aspects of goaltending, helping each of the invitees master the fundamentals of the position while developing a personal identity that translates to in-game success. The camp is invite-only only based on a team of scouts, and has an emphasis on birth years 2000-01.

A full list of other staff and camp invitees will be announced at a later date.

NOTE: The camp, which was previously held in May, has moved to August due to the training calendar and to avoid academic conflicts of those attending.
